Author Summary Framework
Congratulations and welcome aboard. Firstly, thank you for accepting to spare your time to write a summary of your Peer-reviewed article.
At the outset, we would like to recommend to you some guidelines that will aid you to communicate your research succinctly and effectively to the students and the other researchers. The following framework may help you to organize the content.
Every research field is different. If the template given below does not fit your case, feel free to do it in your own way.
The content to be organised in 3 sections. The average word count per article is between 700 and 1500. However, there is no specific word count limit per section, and the author has the discretion to select the number of words for each section.
SECTION A.

Undergraduate, Master's and early-stage PhD students have a tough time reading and understanding the scientific articles completely. The main intention of this section is to help the reader by providing the background information and basic tenets required to understand the article.
In this section, the existing question in the field of study should be introduced to provide the context. Incorporating the outline of experimental design and methodology would help the readers understand how to approach the research question.
SECTION B.

This section should have a concise summary of the findings of the study.
SECTION C.

FAQs:
Do I need to follow the word count limit strictly?
Absolutely not. However, if the script is too short, it may not convey the important details and may look half baked. Similarly, if the script is too long, the verbosity defies the whole idea of providing the succinct content to the reader. However, as long as you can justify the word count (whether 200 or 2000), we are happy with your decision.
How long does it take to get the author summary published?
It depends, but generally within 1-2 weeks. In exceptional cases, it may take up to 2 months. The major hitch is that the scripts will be sent to the respective authors for minor corrections if there are any. As soon as we get the final nod from the script authors, we will publish them.
Do I have to pay money for getting my script published on your site?
Nope. We are more than happy to publish your script on our website.
Is there a limit to the number of articles I can write the summary to and get them published on your website?
There is no such limit. You can send as many as you can and get them published.
What happens to personal details which I (author) provide?
We post your personal details only to make you accessible to the readers who are interested in your work and who may be willing to communicate with you regarding the same. However, if you do not wish to provide some of the details (optional category), you don't have to. We have no intention of overstepping our boundaries. We respect your privacy.
We do not sell your data to 3rd party. However, we request you to note that your information will be available to the readers on your page, and we do not take any responsibility for how they use your data. As mentioned earlier, if you consider the information sensitive, please do not provide it to us.
Can I write a script on unpublished Data?
Sorry, we do not recommend our website (yet). bioRxiv is the best place to make it happen.
